Can Get Overstimulated if Petted or Handled Too Much
Tinkerbelle’s guardian passed away suddenly and Tinker was thrown into a tizzy. When she was surrendered to us she was upset and scared and really missed her mom.
Since taking Tinker in we’ve fallen in love with her. She is such a character! This lady has “personality plus” and her antics are always amusing.
Tinker definitely reminds us of ourselves when we’re a little older and have been through a lot in our lives. There comes a point when you say, OK, things are what they are, I am who I am and if you don’t like it then you can lump it. In time I will love you in my own way and if you give me a chance you’ll find that I’m very savvy, smart, amusing and also loving.
Tinker can get “overstimulated” if you pet her too much. She needs someone who can read her cues and respect her limits when it comes to being touched. Watch her tail and ears for signs that she needs a break. She will still love you, she just wants to be the boss of her own space. She is also very routine oriented and prefers that things be pretty predicable.
She’s like an older adult; she’s set in her ways and wants to live in a loving but peaceful and somewhat predictable home.
She’d LOVE a home where she would have the run of the house and be pampered. This would be Tinkerbelle’s dream.
