SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS:
Rocky is an exceptionally loving cat that has had a few unfortunate breaks in his life at no fault of his own.
He’d really prefer to be an “only” cat
Rocky is one of the sweetest most loving cats we’ve ever had the privilege to rescue and care for.
Rocky is 11 years old and still looking for his “forever” home. We hope that the third time is the charm.
We originally rescued Rocky as a kitten in 2013. He was adopted in early 2014. He lived with a family until 2017 when they decided to move away and didn’t want to take Rocky with them so we took him back.
He was adopted out again to a very lovely woman who had him for several years. She developed a rather serious heart condition and the family asked us to take Rocky back as she could no longer care for him. He came back to our shelter in April, 2022.
This wonderful boy has rolled with every punch. He doesn’t quite understand why he keeps losing his home but he adjusts fairly quickly.
Rocky would prefer to live with an older adult in a more quiet, loving and somewhat predictable home where he can receive as much attention as possible. He’d also prefer to be an “only” cat. He really doesn’t like to share and wants to be the center of your world.
